I am a Black therapist from Asheville who has experienced the ups and downs of living in Western North Carolina. I am passionate about social-justice advocacy and pushing for opportunities for everyone to access mental health appropriately. I live by the motto, "Be the best you."
I utilize a person-centered approach focused on listening first without judgment. Through coaching, I aim to provide tools to unlock hidden potential and support life transitions.
Specialties include (but are not limited to) BIPOC experiences, neurodivergence, depression, anxiety, parent-child relationships, and substance use. Therapeutic modalities include CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Person-Centered Therapy, ACT, and mindfulness/grounding techniques.
