Baylor Brown, LCMHCS, CSI
he/him/hisExperiential, mindfulness-based work meeting beliefs, emotions, and trauma in real time.
Counseling is such meaningful and rewarding work and I am so grateful that I get to do it. My goal is to always be growing as a person right alongside you and to always approach my work with a sense of openness and curiosity rather than judgment.
I typically use a more experiential, mindfulness-based approach that focuses on how beliefs, emotions, and trauma show up in real time. Trauma is a key area of focus, and I am especially passionate about helping clients heal from sexual trauma. I am trained in EMDR and IFS and incorporate Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, DBT, and ACT.
I also enjoy working with couples (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and have experience with children, adolescents, and families. I am a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and work with addictions as part of counseling. I am LGBQIA and trans affirming and committed to anti-racism and feminism.
